Wise Words About Making Our Church Services User Friendly
Wise words concerning the weakness of any Church that tries to make an unbeliever comfortable in worshiping a holy God. Its good to be friendly, open and show love to those who may attend but it should never be tailored to making them happy with programs , clubs, dancing etc... Preach Christ,Preach Christ ,Preach Christ!
Verse Of The Day : [2] For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.
(1 Corinthians 2:2 ESV)

When R. C. Sproul says, The Bible says, No one seeks after God..." I thought everyone would like to hear the rest of that pertinent chapter. That part was the gentle part. Brace yourself, it describes what God sees and thinks of our own supposed righteousness.
Here goes folks, it ain't pretty. Romans 3: 10-18, "...as it is written: “None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God. All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one.” “Their throat is an open grave; they use their tongues to deceive.” “The venom of asps is under their lips.” “Their mouth is full of curses and bitterness.” “Their feet are swift to shed blood; in their paths are ruin and misery, and the way of peace they have not known.” “There is no fear of God before their eyes.”
I know that this is an apt description of human beings because I am one. I know what you're thinking, "but I've never killed anyone." Apparently, if you've never killed anyone you're all good. Not according to Jesus, He says in Matthew 5:21-22, "You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder; and whoever murders will be liable to judgment.’ But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire."
But that's not the worst part of these verses. The worst is "there is no fear of God before their eyes." Some people think that a good and loving God will let them in, despite their rebellion. Just to make t interesting, lets here from another source. Everybody would agree that demons, if they exist (they do and don't mess with them) are evil. Here's what they've said to Jesus in Matthew 8:28-29, "And when he came to the other side, to the country of the Gadarenes, two demon-possessed men met him, coming out of the tombs, so fierce that no one could pass that way. And behold, they cried out, “What have you to do with us, O Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?”
Here's something to think about. If evil demons know there is a reckoning from Jesus, the Son of God, what say we? Love you, Mrs Reg
