Forgiveness
This song speaks volumes . Granted it is mostly concerned with a shattered relationship but the essence of the song is realizing that forgiveness is the only way that one can stay away from bitterness, hatred and with holding it will eat one alive.
Not one soul on this earth will not do,say or act in a way that will not need to be forgiven. For any relationship to survive be it marriage , to children and friends , forgiving will be the only thing that will maintain them. If you are the one hurt and the other person tries to make things right , you need to be willing to forgive. If your the one who is repenting of your wrong , then be humble and allow for time to heal. Then if the other person will not forgive ,you must learn to live with it.
But the heart of a Christian should be willing to forgive. If you find yourself the one who will not , then you better take a close look in the mirror and see if your pride and self righteousness is poisoning your heart.
Verse Of The Day : For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

When we think of the wrongs we've commited towards others, if we're honest about them, we should be ashamed (that is the ones we know that we've done). Imagine the standard we have to live up to to satisfy a Holy God. It is impossible. Yet, He loved us so much that while we were yet sinners, He died for us. If we cannot forgive than we should look a little closer at today's verse. It's not just a suggestion, on Our Lord's part. Love you, Mrs Reg
