Dec 1st , which means the real countdown begins to Christmas day . Since I'm what they say , between jobs in this politically correct world , I will be handling , along with my youngest son , Jordan , the decor of the house. My lovely wife will have veto if we go too gaudy , but we will attempt not to .
Its something that I truly look forward to . Most men are so Scrooges when it comes to Christmas but not me . My wife calls me "Mr.Christmas" and its true. I love the music . I love the Lights , I love being on Christmas day with family and most importantly I love the Lord Jesus Christ and what he came to do on my behalf.
So hopefully over the next week or so I will post some pics of our decorating ability. I will not let the commercialization of Christmas ruin my Christmas as Charlie Brown said, to that I say AMEN!

I'm so grateful to you and Jordie, for doing the decorating. For you men out there, sitting on your duff, and you know who you are, most women would enjoy Christmas all the more if you pitched in.
This is for you women who think it won't be right unless it's done your way. Remember this, that's only true if your God. On that note, since I'm not God, fill your boots.
In gratitude, for the amazing amount of work you guys will be doing, I decline my right of veto. Yes, even the tree trimming. Two exceptions, no tinsel and if I see a hole I've got to fill it. Sorry, it's the hairdresser in me.
Dear readers, I know what your thinking, "he's just decorating the house."
On the contrary. He's cooking all the meals (including the big ones), baking, cleaning, driving everybody around and maintaining the normal housecleaning. Laundry, which is the only chore I do, will also be added to his plate. The Christmas season, in the Salon, is high season. I'll be working some pretty crazy days.
In advance, thanks Babe. Good luck decorating with Jordie, as well. He may look like you but he's got his Mama's bossy streak. Have fun. Love you, Mrs Reg
